Ka Maita, or Margarita Favis Gomez was chosen as the Philippines’ representative to the Miss World Beauty contest during the selections of the Top 10 Fashion Models of the Philippines in 1967. Beside being named one of the top models of Philipines, Maita was also one of Bachelor’s Club of the Philippines’ Manila Prettiest winners in 1966.
